The problem of evil…

Spread the love

Sunday morning public service announcement…To state the problem one more time. If there is a god, he cannot be all knowing, all powerful, and all good. Not with evil in the world, and not with this insane concept of people burning in hell for eternity. It’s not that it’s a mystery, it’s total bullshit! Not as a matter of personal opinion, but by reason, logic, and basic everyday common sense. And when I say logic, I literally mean if you put this problem on a symbolic truth tree, it comes out invalid. It’s like saying one and one equals three… If one is required to toss reason, logic, and everyday basic common sense under the bus in order to “believe” something… You may want to check yourself… Or at a minimum, remain very very quiet in public when it comes to pontificating such nonsense. I would like to also make it clear that I am neither affirming nor denying the existence of a god. I do not know the answer to that, nor does anybody else. What I do know is that if there is a god, he’s not in alignment with the Christian understanding of that god. That question is well within my paygrade to answer. They say judge not, yet they send a hell everything that stands in their way. In making god a judge, they make themselves a judge… This meme is a pretty bold and an outrageous claim. What they are saying is that if you don’t believe in Christianity, if you don’t believe in their way, you’re going to burn in hell! And yet when challenged, they are incapable of defending such lunacy… They make these bold proclamations, and then when challenged with basic common sense, they cower in the corner and proclaim, “it’s a mystery!” No, it’s not a mystery, it’s insanity! If this god is all knowing, then he has full knowledge of what people are going to choose before he creates them! If he then creates them knowing that they’re going to burn in hell for eternity, he’s not a good god! This isn’t complicated, it’s simply incorrect. . I now return you to your local church service and football game!

With out free will there is not free love. Calvinist view is not the only Christian view .
