Consumerism

Sometimes I fall victim to consumerism… Sometimes I get sucked up into the idea that I need the next gadget, when in reality what I already have suits myneeds just fine. The steel flint striker on the left cost me $40. The piece of broken file on the right cost me $0.50 at a flea market. While the striker on the left did come with a nice leather case, it doesn’t throw sparks worth a s***. The small chunk of broken file on the other hand, throws sparks like a Roman Candle on the 4th of July…
