I was out practicing photographing while riding my motorcycle today.
It was a wonderful day for riding motorcycles and taking photos. After putting around for several hours with my trusty Nikon D700 by my side, I had to stop in for a wee nee at Johnny’s Wee Nee Wagon over in Markham, IL.
I’m working on being able to photograph while riding. With my 80-200mm lens on, the camera body naturally hangs so I can reach down and grab the camera with little problem. But with my 24mm lens on, the camera flips the wrong direction for me to be able to grab it.
There were so many missed photo opportunities when I went to New Orleans because there wasn’t always a cool place to safely pull over. I’m wanting to be able to shoot while I’m riding.
I’ll keep working on it until I figure it out.
