Local New Orleans legend, Lissa Driscoll, otherwise known as Washboard Lissa, (also Washboard Annie) has been playing and singing old blues songs on the streets of the French Quarter for over three decades. Lissa was recently diagnosed with throat cancer, which she continues to fight. Here Lissa enjoys a moment of evening quiet-time at her kitchen table (If you wish to help, here’s a link to Lissa Driscoll’s Medical Fund).
