Street photography requires massive amounts of mindfulness, you must be fully awake in the here-and-now in order to “see” potential captures. Practicing mindfulness through walking meditations is a fantastic way to improve your street photography.
Also: As many people know, I like to pass out clean socks to homeless people during the winter. If you have any socks that you would like to donate, please bring them to the Zen Street Walk outing.
Come participate in the Zen street walk on October 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm
man what a good idea..the walk I mean. It’s what I do anyway, but it is a wonderful practice. Finally found the new Dorothea Lange doco and saw your post in my email while having a break from it just now. she talked about “losing” herself for hours and how you have to “annihilate” self to do the work. Spooky. same thing really. Hope the walk is good and the socks thing..such a good work to do Chuck
Thanks Paul. Glad you watched the Lange doc. Really incredible story, and work.
