Join me for a wonderful, 3-day, New Orleans street photography workshop! Come and explore the streets of New Orleans’ French Quarter and take an adventure into the world of street photography!
With its unique atmosphere and people, the French Quarter offers awesome opportunities for shooting street.

- How to create strong compositions
- Getting the most out of your camera settings
- Achieving the best exposure with available light
- Tips on creating a strong black and white image
- Basics of Lightroom editing

- Small stack of single dollar bills (street performer tips)
- A Laptop with Lightroom – (You can purchase Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6

Street Photography Workshop Itinerary
Friday, October 30 – 6:00pm meet & greet where we will introduce ourselves and have an open discussion about any and all aspects of street photography. Then we’ll all head out into the streets from 7:00-9:00pm and do some night street photography.
Saturday, October 31 – 10:00am we will start our day by gathering for coffee before heading out into the city streets to enjoy the unique French Quarter atmosphere that only New Orleans has to offer. We’ll work out in the streets until 2:00pm and then take a break for lunch/dinner on your own. We’ll hook up again in the evening for some evening photography until 8:00.
Sunday, November 1 – 10:00am we will meet to begin processing our best images using Lightroom. We’ll discuss workflow, style, and more. Please bring your own laptop and card reader in order to get the most out of this last session. At 2:00 the workshop will be officially concluded!
